There is only one week to go until Global Entrepreneurship Week 2015, which this year will run from Monday 16th to Sunday 22nd November, and plans to make this year as successful as ever are well underway.
Global Entrepreneurship Week is a week of global activities that highlight and celebrate entrepreneurship and its social and economic benefits, including personal empowerment and job creation.
In the UK, the campaign is co-hosted by Youth Business International and three of YBI’s member organisations: Startup Direct, UnLtd and Virgin Startup; all four organisations provide support to young entrepreneurs to start and grow their own business and create employment.
This year, one of the themes running through Global Entrepreneurship Week is ‘Make it Happen’, encouraging people to turn their business ideas into reality.
Last year, 2,500 events took place in the UK, and this year’s calendar is shaping up to be just as busy. As a partner, Pulse Creative Marketing will be joining in the celebrations by holding a free ‘Marketing Magic’ seminar, an interactive event packed full of marketing hints and tips. The event will take place on 19th November at Business Central Darlington.
Paul Finch, Manager at Pulse Creative Marketing said:
“Marketing Magic is designed to provide practical hints and tips, revealing some of the secrets behind how to make your marketing effortless, so it is like magic! I’m really pleased to be hosting the event during Global Entrepreneurship Week to help inspire a range of businesses.”
Andrew Devenport, Chief Executive of Youth Business International, the organisation that coordinates Global Entrepreneurship Week UK, comments:
“Global Entrepreneurship Week is celebrated in over 140 countries and provides practical support and encouragement to millions of people. This year, the theme for Global Entrepreneurship Week in the UK is Make it Happen, giving people the perfect opportunity to take action on their entrepreneurial ideas. We hope you find ways to #GEWmakeit!”
Marketing Magic will take place on 19th November, 10:00am – 12:00pm at Business Central Darlington, 2 Union Square, Central Park, Darlington, DL1 1GL.
