A local celebrity chef has combined his skills and knowledge to create not one but FIVE businesses following the sale of his interest in the award winning Food Education Company.
Mark Earnden, based in Sunderland, has set up five new companies under the www.markearnden.com umbrella that reflect his views on the importance of health, well-being, effective purchasing and education together with igniting a passion and belief in young people that they too can succeed in business. Mark said: “Throughout my life and business career I have always had a desire to help people, and by selling my interest in the Food Education Company, I am now able to develop some new ideas and businesses that do exactly that.”
The companies launched by Mark are: Demonstration Chef, TSYMCO, The Student Business Factory, The Autism Food Club and Early Food Years. Mark continued: “I have used my experience in catering and business to start up these companies which work within nurseries, schools, colleges and care homes to offer an array of various services including procurement, recipe development, training and investment.”
When looking for a marketing company to work with, Mark chose Pulse Creative Marketing. He said: “Branding is very important for any business and choosing the right agency is imperative. I chose to work with Pulse because they understood my needs from the outset and knew what I was trying to achieve. The fact that they are decent people to work with and always deliver results made it an easy decision.”
Paul Finch, manager at Pulse added: “Working with Mark is a pleasure; he is extremely motivated with a vision of what he wants to achieve which we have helped turn into reality; it’s a great match for both of us. We are incredibly supportive in encouraging entrepreneurship so it’s been really enjoyable and rewarding working with Mark, we look forward to continue helping Mark develop the businesses further.”
