A Washington couple have taken the brave step of combining their individual skills into a Concord based business that will result in a taste explosion.
John & Jordan Spence have opened Latina Deli on Front Street, Concord offering a great range of hot and cold home cooked food, great quality coffee, speciality teas, as well as a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. John said: “We live in Washington and wanted to offer a place where people can come and get great food, great coffee, and great company – we think we provide that and more.”
Jordan Spence provides the Latin influence to many of the dishes but also knows that traditional fare is just as important. She said: “Having lived in Italy, my cooking is strongly influenced by Italian tastes but I know that traditional dishes like mince & dumplings are still very popular – we like to think we have a good mix of all styles and types of food on the menu.”
Latina Deli worked with Pulse Creative Marketing to create their branding and all marketing materials. John Spence said: “Pulse have been great to work with as they have been very flexible and fully understood what we needed, providing practical and creative solutions that have really helped us get our business off the ground. We have used them to design and print all of our marketing materials, menus and mini-website – they even designed the signage for the café!”
Paul Finch, marketing manager at Pulse responded: “Latina Deli has been a fantastic opportunity to work with a couple who really know where they wanted to be but needed some guidance on how to get reach their customers. From an initial marketing review we provided a wide range of marketing services acting as a one stop shop to help Latina Deli get up and running. I look forward to working with them in the future.”
Latina Deli is now open at 17 Front Street, Concord, Washington, – call 07787 887 479 for more information.
